Lycée Aviation i Guineas huvudstad Conakry är en kommunal skola med 7799 elever (5392 pojkar och 2407 flickor). Skolan fick sin första datorsal i april 2008, datorerna har AfricaBit samlat in och skickat från Sverige. I januari 2009 fick skolan internetuppkoppling. Nu har Guinea Conakry för första gången i landets historia en kommunal skola med datorsal och internet. AfricaBits samarbete med Lycée Aviation kommer att fortsätta, vi har för avsikt att bygga ut datorsalen och arbetar med att samla in datorer, tillbehör och ekonomiskt bidrag för att förverkliga detta.

Lycée Aviation in Conakry, the capital of Guinea, is a public school with 7799 students (5392 boys and 2407 girls). The school inaugurated its first computer room in April 2008, the computers were collected and sent from Sweden. In January 2009 the school got its internet connection. Now Guinea Conakry has, for the first time in the country’s history, a public school with a computer room and internet. AfricaBit’s cooperation with Lycée Aviation will continue, we have the intentions to develop the computer room and we are working to collect computers, equipment and funds.

Das Gymnasium Aviation in Conakry, der Hauptstadt von Guinea, ist eine öffentliche Schule mit 7799 Schülern (5392 Jungen und 2407 Mädchen).
Im April 2008 hat die Schule ihren ersten Computerraum eröffnet, die Computer wurden in Schweden gesammelt und nach Westafrika verschifft.
Im Januar 2009 bekam die Schule eine Internetverbindung. So hat Guinea Conakry zum ersten Mal in seiner Geschichte eine Schule mit IT-Raum
und Internet. AfricaBit wird auch in Zukunft mit dem Gymnasium Aviation kooperieren. Wir planen den Raum weiter auszubauen und sind derzeit
auf der Suche nach neuen Computer, weiterer Ausrüstung und Finanzierungsmöglichkeiten.
